From a Spark to a Flame – The Journey of Myth & Wick

What began as something small — just a simple idea, a little wax, and a lot of curiosity — has grown into something I could have only dreamed of. Today, I’m sitting here, building my own website for Myth & Wick, and I can’t help but think about how far this journey has taken me.

It hasn’t been an easy road. There were plenty of moments when walking away would have been the easier choice. But I refused to give up. And I couldn’t have done it alone — not even close. My kids have been right there beside me, working just as hard, pouring their time, energy, and love into this little business. Every candle we pour, every wax melt we make, every label we stick — it’s a team effort.

Because of that, there’s no way I could even think about quitting now. This isn’t just about candles anymore. It’s about the dream we’ve built together as a family — and the promise I’ve made to see it through.

So I’ll keep making candles and wax melts. I’ll keep working toward turning Myth & Wick into something known not just in our hometown, but all around the world.

And as we grow, my goal will always be to take you somewhere special with every scent — whether it’s a stroll through a deep forest where the fey dance in the shadows, or helping Grandma in her blooming garden on a sunny afternoon. I want each candle to be a doorway, and each fragrance to be a story you can step inside.
